My name is Lisa, I’m 26 years old and I’m a handpoke artist based in Düsseldorf Germany. It all started a year ago and it became the biggest part of my life. Now I’m working in two different shops and couldn’t be happier with my job.
Have you always been a tattoo artist?
Tattoos or body mod have always been a part of my life. I got my first tattoo when I was just 15 years old (I never regretted it although it’s a bit trashy, because it’s a rose with a skull). I got my first handpoke tattoo in Thailand and I liked the calm and kind of spiritual atmosphere during the session. So I got inspired to change my life back in Germany, I asked some tattoo artists for help, got some stuff and started tattooing myself.
What was it like the first time you put needle and ink to skin?
The first one was a tiny flower on myself. I was really excited and scared of putting in the needle too deep into my skin so it wasn’t deep enough. But the lines went pretty well for the first time so I did a few more on myself and after a short time I found some friends to practice.
Do you have any memorable/ funny stories you can tell?
I think the most memorable and funny story is that I met my boyfriend through hand-poking. He didn’t really wanted a tattoo so badly, but he wanted to get to know me so he got two tattoos before he asked me out on a date.
Why do you prefer hand-poking to machine tattooing?
I like the way hand-poking creates a piece of art out of many tiny dots made by hand. It’s like meditation, nothing makes me as calm as it does. And the fact that it’s less painful and the tattoos are healing much faster is a big plus for my clients. I had many clients who got their first tattoo by me, because they were scared of the pain of machine tattooing.
What would you recommend to someone who wanted to start tattooing?
Try to educate yourself as good as possible before you even touch a needle. Get some good stuff, find a sterile workspace and be patient, all in good time.
Do you have any tips or tricks when it comes to hand poke tattooing?
Stay calm and take the time you need, you’re not a machine and you don’t need to rush.
So Single Needle Tattoo Kits, I believe that home tattooing is inherently risky, but people have, and will continue to tattoo themselves, therefore making a safe and affordable kit is the way forward... What's your take on this?
I think it’s important to have kits like these. There are many people who underestimate the consequences of bad equipment or less hygiene and kits like these help to solve this problem.

THANK YOU DR. KURIAMA 🙏
I don’t usually share personal health issues publicly, but I believe my story can give hope to someone else who is suffering in silence.
For few months, i was diagnosed with the herpes virus. The constant outbreaks, pain, shame, and endless drugs from the hospital were destroying me mentally and financially. I prayed for a permanent solution because the antivirals were only suppressing it, not curing it.My breakthrough came when I met Dr. Kuriama. From day one, he handled my case with so much professionalism and confidentiality. No judgment, just pure understanding and knowledge. He explained the root cause and how his herbal medicine would work to flush the virus from my system.I committed to his herbal treatment for few days then i receive it. The herbs were pure, well-packaged, and he monitored me every step of the way with calls and follow-ups. He told me what to eat, what to avoid, and encouraged me when I felt discouraged.By God’s grace, I completed the treatment and went for a new lab test, the result came back NEGATIVE. I did it twice to be sure, and both confirmed I am herpes free. The joy, relief, and peace I feel right now cannot be put into words. I have my life, my confidence, and my health back.
Dr. Kuriama, you are a true gift to humanity. Thank you for your honesty, your expertise, and for dedicating your life to healing people with herbs. You didn’t just cure me you restored my hope.
To anyone out there battling herpes or any other stubborn infection,Don’t lose hope. I am a living testimony that a natural cure exists. I strongly recommend you reach out to Dr. Kuriama for help. He is genuine, tested, and trusted.
